Abstract (EN)
The soul, one of the basic concepts that constitute the essence of Sufi thought, pass in three hundred places in the Qur'an. The greatest obstacle in front of the goal of creation is the nafs. In the Qur'an, in the hadiths, and in various religious sources, the soul are always confronted as a semiotics. The unfounded nafs in the belief of Sufism are considered as the source of all evil, the most difficult enemy of man. The concept of soul, which has a broad sense of meaning, is a subject that has been studied in poetry and poetry in poetry literature. In this study; After some aspects of the soul have been expressed, it has been attempted to explain how the soul is treated in divan literature. A total of 223 divans and masnawi, written from the 13th century to the 19th century, were used in the study. Poets from every level have been involved in this work so that the work can be comprehensive. The scanning of the works belonging to the poets is carried out from the couplets and benders obtained; It has been explained in four parts in total, the reasons of nature, characteristics, adjectives, nature, rubrics, relations with reason-heart and soul, use of religious constructions, history-mythological person and animal symbols and their backgrounds. In chapter 5, poets who are not satisfied with introducing negative feelings have revealed which methods they used to dissolve and purify. In the 6th episode, the poet's individual thoughts about the soul were given according to centuries and summarized by moving from works of 143 poets. Thus, the opinions of the divan poets about the soul were first put forward in a collective manner. Keywords: Classical Turkish Literature, Soul, Divan, Masnawi, Sufism.
