Abstract (EN)

Coronary artery disease (CAD), is one of the reasons death and morbidity in our country as well as all over the world. CAD develops largely on the basis of atherosclerosis. In this study, the results of blood samples taken from patients presenting with acute ischemic chest pain between January 2019 and June 2019 in Van Emergency Service and Cardiology Policlinics of Dursun Odabaş Medical Center were evaluated. No drug or other substance was administered to these individuals. 24 patients with acute ischemic chest pain and diagnosed as chronic arteritis, 12 with CAD with diabetes mellitus (DM), 12 with hypertension (HT) problems with CAD, 12 healthy subjects without DM, hypertension and CAD were used as research material. Blood samples were taken and biochemically Troponin, CK, CK-MB, AST, ALT, LDL-Cholesterol, HDL-Cholesterol, LDH, Glucose, Creatinine were determined by autoanalyser (Abbott ci16200) and H-FABP measured by ELISA. The highest cholesterol levels were found in the CAD group, HDL-cholesterol and LDH levels were higher in the CAD+ HT group, while CK, CK-MB, cTnI, AST, Glucose, creatinine and H-FABP levels were higher in the DM + CAD group. There was no statistical significance in patients with HT or DM in addition to CAD. LDL-cholesterol changes also did not change significantly between the groups. In other parameters examined, intergroup changes in CK and Glucose p≤ 0.001, AST p≤ 0.002, LDH p≤ 0.003, CK-MB p≤ 0.004, HDL-Cholesterol p≤ 0.049, Creatinine p≤ 0.011, HFABP p≤ 0.050 were significantly important. The change of markers such as CK, CK-MB, cTn I, LDH from cardiac markers was discussed with the support of literature. However, in recent years, H-FABP has become increasingly important in the diagnosis of CAD and MI. In the present study, H-FABP level was elevated in all patients examined and it was recommended to be used as a critical and useful parameter in the field of cardiology.
