A theoretical investigation of logistics regression analysis and loglineer analysis and a research on the success of the last grade students (Kozan/Adana) in the university entrance examination of every situation of the family

In this study, log regression analysis (LRA) and log linear analysis (LLA) were examined and the factors affecting the student's YKS success were examined with LRA and LLA. The data set in the research was created from the information collected by surveying. In this context, in the 2020-2021 academic year, 304 secondary schools in Kozan district center will be held in the 12th year. The questionnaire was applied to the student. According to the findings obtained as a result of the ꭓ2 analyses made (which square), success in the YKS exam; it has been determined that the type of school, the type of education in high school, the state of support for their lessons outside of school, the presence of an alarming and restless environment at home, the survival of family members and the ability to communicate well with their family are related to educational success. According to the LLA model applied to the data associated with success, it was determined that the presence of an alarming and restless environment at home with the inability of at least one of the family members to be alive reduced the success of the exam. According to the model obtained because of the LRA, it was determined that those who communicated well with their family occasionally affected the success rate more than those who thought they never communicated well, the presence of a worrying and restless environment at home affected the success rate more than those who never had one, and the absence of at least one of the family members affected the success rate more than those who did not.
