Abstract (EN)
In Turkish Literature, the group of writers between the second generation of Tanzimat and Servet-i Fünun is called Ara Nesil. Mehmed Celâl is one of the leading poets and writers of the period, with his creation of different works in novels, stories, poems and translations, and a substantial body of work. In this study, more poems, stories and novels are known to the author, stories and novels were examined in terms structure and theme. The examination section, which is the basis of the study, consists of two parts. In the first part, 18 works af the author in terms of structure; in the third part, these 18 works were examined in thematic terms. While the author's stories and novels were examined in terms of structural and thematic fiction, disciplines such as psychology, sociology, philosophy and history were also used, as well as novel theory. Mehmed Celâl, drew attention to the fact that in his stories and novels, there are mostly individual themes such as love, suicide, degeneration and escape. In the conclusion section, the outstanding inferences from Mehmed Celâl's stories and novels throughout the study were revealed. Keywords: Mehmed Celâl, history, novel, structure, theme
