Mirât-i Târîh-i Osmânî

After the introduction of history courses in the junior high schools, the need for a systematic history textbook became apparent. In response to this need, Mr. Aziz, Mr. Sami and Mr. Şevki wrote the textbook Mirât-ı Târîh-i Osmânî, which covers all the sultans who lived from Osman Gazi until the reign of Abdülhamid II. This study consists of an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction part of the study, the work is briefly mentioned. In the first part, the transcription of Mirât-ı Târîh-i Osmânî, in the second part, the evaluation of the work and the comparison of some subjects were made. In the conclusion, a general evaluation is made.
