Abstract (EN)
In this study the impact of chaos theory and blue ocean strategy as modern management strategies on organisational performance has been studied via questionnaires delivered to 204 participants chosen by random sampling in İstanbul, and if there is an impact, the direction of the impact has been determined in order to reach the results which will ve useful for researchers and organisation managers. Global world economy makes it easy for organisations to enter the market whereas makes it difficult to maintain their place and strengthen their position. Due to high competitiveness in modern world all organisations in the market have to use modern strategic management techniques. In this study it is stated how organisations need blue ocean strategy to survive in such a competitive environment and how they need to use chaos theory in Turkey, a country with a developing economy under unclear economic and managerail developments. It has been put forward that chaos theory and blue ocean strategy as modern management techniques have positive impact on organisational performance.
