In our character list themed thesis, we aimed to present the artistic character of Mustafa KUTLU who was one the of well known narrators of the republic period. We intended to determine the similarities between the character list and the individuals who forms the Turkish society and to specify how, wherein, which features the Turkish were shown in Mustafa KUTLU?s stories.According to the contemporary story tellers, the reflection of the society they live in, is important for its various aspects in their literary Works. They nearly try to reflect the society in every aspects of it. Mustafa KUTLU gives importance to introduce the Turkish society with its various ranks, too. So putting forward this emphasis with an academic study is extremely important to the progress line of the modern Turkish narration.As we put forward the progress of the Republic period Turkish narration, it depends upon the study of the narrators of this period one by one.
