Examination of correlation between narcissistic personality traits and perfectionism and life satisfaction

This study aims to investigate relationship between Narcissism, Perfectionism and Life Satisfaction. The study comprises of; Theoretical Explanations, Methods, Findings and Discussion parts. Narcissism, perfectionism and life satisfaction concepts are explained and discussed in theoretical explanations and theoretical frameworks were presented. Narcissism has been studied in two dimensions, personality and personality disorder. Apart from this, narcissism related theories such as self-psychology were mentioned. Perfectionism was examined as sub-dimensions and its relation with narcissism was discussed. Life satisfaction was covered in the framework of some theories and then it was mentioned about hedonic fit, personality, narcissism and perfectionism. The results of the Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (FMPS), the Narcissistic Personality Inventory (NPI) and the Life Satisfaction Questionnaire (LSQ) questionnaire, which were applied to a total of 310 students, including law faculty, medical faculty and health science faculty students, findings obtained were revealed. In the discussion section, these findings were compared with more hypotheses and previous studies.
