Abstract (EN)

Nuri Pakdil is one of the eminent writers of Turkish Literature. He has produced many literary works, in a vast diversity such as essays, theaters, translations, interviews, memoirs, letters and poetry. Pakdil, one of the important figures of Turkish literature in the late century, is an intellectual who draws attention with his revolutionary stance. Pakdil, one of the important representatives of the Islamic community, differs even in his own community with the way he deals with the themes in his works, especially in his poems. Pakdil lived between 1934-2019. Besides his literary identity, He has an intellectual personality with an Islamic sensitivity. He is, in his own words, a "Revolutionary Muslim" and a "Revolutionary Writer". Pakdil, who witnessed many national and international changes in his lifetime, did not remain unresponsive to these events and managed to influence the public opinion with his ideas on many social, political and religious issues through his works. In this study, we tried to determine the religious elements and values that constitute the basis of Pakdil's poems. This study, which we have prepared using the documentary method, will of course not be enough to get to know and introduce Pakdil. In addition to his artistic and poetic personality, the literary language and style he prefers in his works makes it difficult to understand Pakdil. In this context, in our study named "Religious Elements and Values in Nuri Pakdil's Poems"; It has been studied Pakdil's poems in the context of his personality, ideology and conservatism. Keywords: Religion Psychology, Religious Element, Value, Nuri Pakdil, Poetry
