Abstract (EN)
Introduction and Objective: At the sleep apnea syndrome while sleeping in the night, it gives rise to apnea, hipoksemi and difficulty with breathing. This situation, generating stres with the person, may rise stres factors, cathecolamins within blood. İn this study we have done, we intended to detect if there was any difference of ambulatory blood pressure for 24 hours, arterial stiffness index and urine cathecolamins with the people who weren't detectet OSAS and OSAS. Material and Method: Between january 2012 and julay 2014, people who slept in Endokrin Section in Dicle University and who headed for polyclinics for hypertension and obesity and whom we detected OSAS symptoms like snoring, sleepiness in the day-light, witnessed apnea, who slept in sleeping laboratories have been taken into study. Thirty five patients who were detected OSAS and twenty six patients who were note detected OSAS were included in the research. In the study ambulatory blood pressure for 24 hours, arterial stiffness index, cathecolamin devastating products in urine, BMI, insuline, glucose, HOMA-IR and lipid parametres were searched. In the statical analysis, independent- t test, ki-kare test and pearson corelasyon was used. Findings: The average age of OSAS group comparing with the control group was significiantly high (50,7±10,5; 39,4±13,0; p<0,05). The average weight of OSAS group comparing with the control group was significiantly high (101,5±28,0; 78,9±23,9; p<0,05). The BMI of patient group comparing with control group was significiantly high (36,0±9,7; 29,1±8,9; p<0,05). The rate of HOMA-IR of he patient group comparing with the control group was significiantly high (7,0±6.3; 3,8±4,0 p<0,05). The rate of urine normetanephrin for 24 hours of the patient group comparing with the control group was significiantly high (283,7±233,6; 137,7±73,9 p<0,05). The rate of urine VMA for 24 hours of the patient group comparing with the control group was significiantly high (3,39±2,41; 2,17±1,4 p<0,05). Sistolic tension average rate for 24 hours of patient group with the control group was significiantly high (131,8±14,6; 122,7±17,2 p<0,05). A negative correlation was detected between AHİ and HDL (r:-0,392 p:0,004). It was detected a positive correlation among AHİ and BMI, body weight, glucose of hunger, insülin, HOMA-IR (r:0,359 p:0,006; r:0,383 p:0,003; r:0,42 p:0,001; r:0,315 p:0,02; r:0,425 p:0,001). Conclusion: 1. The level of urine normetanephrin and VMA for 24 hours increased at the patients with OSAS. 2. OSAS is related to increased ambulatory sistolic tension. 3. OSAS doesn't affect arterial stiffness index which was detected with measuring ambulatory blood pressure for 24 hours at the patients with OSAS. 4. OSAS is related to increased body weight, BMI, glucose of hunger and HOMA-IR rates. 5. Increasing of AHI might be related to low HDL cholesterol level 6. Intensity of OSAS seems to be increasing as the level of BMI, body weight, glucose of hunger, insuline and HOMA-IR rates.
