Abstract (EN)

In this research, for instructional purpose internet usages and opinions of instructors who are working in Gazi University education faculty in 2010-2011 academic years have been searched. A survey model is used in the study. 100 instructors consist of the sampling of the study. A questionnaire was used in the research as data collection tool. The questionnaire consisted of two parts: in the first part, expressions for internet usage levels of instructors for instructional purpose were included. In the second part, a survey regarding internet on the use of opinions of instructors for instructional purpose was included.According to the results of research, it is seen that instructors are generally unstable in their opinions as to the effects of internet usage for instructional purpose on education. Internets on the use of opinions of instructors for instructional purpose do not change according to their gender, titles and departments. The usage of the internet in general education teaching staff is using the internet sometimes. Internet usages of instructors for instructional purpose do not change according to the departments. They significantly change according to instructors? titles. It has been determined that research assistant instructors were more significant than professor and associate professor instructors and assistant professor instructors. Also, they significantly change according to the gender. Male instructors are more positive than female instructors.
