Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to measure the Collective Agreement Perceptions of teachers, which can be generalized to the whole population , based on the sample, and to give an idea to both the unions and the government, which is the employer, in order to develop Collective Agreement. The scope of the research is the teachers working in 44 secondary schools and Imam Hatip secondary schools in Diyarbakır province Yenişehir district. There are approximately 3500 teachers in Yenişehir District. It is determined that there are 1150 teachers in secondary schools, which is our research universe. 10 percent of the population is selected as a sample, but it is aimed to increase this number in order to increase the validity of the research. Due to the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, dated 6.02.2023, and the serious impact of Diyarbakır, our research area, the survey we conducted is limited to 123 people. A questionnaire consisting of 21 questions, a quantitative measurement tool, is sent to the relevant teachers via the Google form. The results are analyzed via spss (Statistical Package For the Social Sciences). In-depth interviews are conducted with the provincial heads of the union. The result of the meeting has been added to the report. Teachers consider Collective Bargaining Negotiations as an important gain. All of the teachers, regardless of the union, see Collective Agreement Negotiations as a necessity in terms of personal rights. Although the Collective Agreement adopts the premium, the threshold requirement for the premium is rejected. There has been a serious reaction against the Arbitration Committee and the Turkish Statistical Institute and it has been determined that the understanding that both institutions are not impartial is in a dominant position. Promotions against all these disruptions, social gains such as hajj and umrah are considered as the gains of this process. Although the existence of the unions is questioned by the teachers, the teachers, who are aware that some rights cannot be obtained without the reality of the union, state that the personal rights of the unionists are not in line with their own personal rights and they are disturbed by this. It has been determined that there is a consensus that the salaries of trade unionists should be shared with the public in an objective and transparent manner. It is observed that teachers make an ideological distinction in the subjects of Hajj and Umrah. Conservative and religious teachers and non-religious but neutral teachers find these gains valuable, while teachers with opposite ideologies are indifferent to gains with religious symbols. Keywords: Union, Collective Agreement, Strike, Negotiation, Inflation.
