Abstract (EN)

Chemotherapy is often unsuccessful in cell types developed multidrug resistance, or the effectiveness of the anticancer agent used remains low at cancer treatment. In recent years, drug delivery systems have been resorted to inactivating the multidrug resistance gene in cancer cells, and research on this area is being accelerated. Drug release systems are aimed at increasing the duration of the drug in the cell and therefore its efficacy. Recent research has revealed some evidence that dendrimers can be as effective as they are in the drug system. PAMAM G5-Paclitaxel complex was established to overcome the delayed cytotoxic effect in cancer cells, the multidrug resistance caused by P-glycoprotein induced by MDR-1 gene expression in this study. MDAH-2774 endometrioid over cancer cell line and MDAH-2774 endometrioid over cancer cells resistant to paclitaxel drug were used in the study. The paclitaxel drug and PAMAM G5-Paclitaxel complex were applied to generate cytotoxic challenge to MDAH-2774 cells. Cytotoxic interactions of these two molecules via MTT assay. The cytotoxic effect of the PAMAM G5-Paclitaxel complex on MDAH-2774 cells was found to be lower than that of Paclitaxel. This difference supports the need for more detailed investigation into the efficacy of Paclitaxel in the PAMAM G5-Paclitaxel complex. Keywords: MDR1, Paclitaxel, PAMAM Dendrimers, multidrug resistance, ovarian cancer
