Researching the relationship between the coping skill and psychological resistance special needs kids' mothers

The care of the kids who have mental disabilities and need special education is very hard. Most of the time the mothers take the responsibility of care and this causes psychological fatigue and the mothers should have psychological resistance and coping skill. The basic goal of this study is to determine the relationship between psychological resistance and coping skill of the special needs kids' mothers. For reaching to this purpose a survey have been prepared with the attendance of 370 mothers. The results showed that the increase of mothers' coping skill and attitudes increase the psychological resistance. Also according to the results the increase of attitudes cause an increase on mothers' self-worth and social competence. The study has been prepared with the attendance of 370 mothers and this has been accepted as the limitedness of the research.
