Abstract (EN)

In this study, single-layered plain, twill, panama, ribs, satin and their double-layered fabrics were weaved with three weft different frequency by using 90 denier polyester yarns as warp yarns and Ne 16/1, Ne 20/1 and Ne 30/1 cotton yarns as weft yarns. To evaluate comfort properties of these fabrics, weft yarn numbers, weft density, warp frequency, thickness, weight, weft tear strength, warp tear strength, weft tear strength, warp tear strength, air permeability, thermal resistance and water vapor permeability measurements of the fabrics were fulfilled. As a result of the statistical evaluations, useful equations have been obtained for evaluating the comfort features depending on the production parameters of the fabrics. It is also determined that the production parameters affect the comfort characteristics of the fabrics.
