Özet (EN)

Salname (yearbook) and nevsals (private yearbooks) are sources that contain information about institutions and individuals related to the year they belong to, as well as information that would facilitate the work of the public. Among these, those prepared by the state were called "salname" and those prepared by institutions and individuals were called generally "nevsal". The Nevsal-i Osmani is one of these nevsals and it was published for only four years. None of these has been studied so far. The Nevsal-i Osmani dated R.1325/A.D.1909 was chosen as the subject of this study because it was the first Nevsal-i Osmani published and the first nevsal of the Constitutional Monarchy II. In the nevsal, anti-Abdülhamid II seen in the nevsal and mentioning those who made an effort for the establishment of the constitutional administration with praise shows the mentality of the period. In the first part of the study, information about yearbooks and nevsals is given, and in the second part, the nevsal is evaluated.
