Abstract (EN)
Teaching is a profession that requires to be sensitive to the newly-formed demands and changing needs. In recent years, in order to improve the academic achievement, efforts to exams, result of which, determines the future of pupils and the demands for school reforms in this direction have entered the list of major problems that should be taken into consideration. But there are also other problems need to be paid attention such as bullying. The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between the classroom management profiles and bullying detection levels by determining the primary school teachers' classroom management profiles they adopt and their bullying detection levels. For this purpose, form teachers working in the primary school in the central districts of Şanlıurfa in the 2013-2014 academic year constituted the target population of the research made as a depictive one in scanning model. The Demographic and Personal Information Survey, Classroom Management Profile Scale and Peer Victimisation Detection Scale were applied as data collection tools. At the end of this research, no differences were found between the frequency of bullying experienced in classrooms and genders of form teachers. It is found that in the classrooms who are youg, have less working hours and crowdedclassrooms, are paid and teach fourth graders, the perception level of bullying is higher. It is found that form teachers uses the most apprecieted classroom management profile. It was reached to the conclusion that among the students of the form teachers who have the appreciated classroom management profile the frequency of violent behaviors were less. The ascending sort of the frequency of violent behaviors according to profiles were found as Appreciated, Idle and Disregardful Classroom Management Profiles.
