The relationship between satisfaction in romantic relationship, beliefs related to forgiveness and forgiveness

In this research, it is aimed to examine the relationship between forgiveness of the satisfaction in the relationships of the university students and the belief of forgiveness. The sample of this research comprises of 313 students who study in various faculties in Gaziantep University as undergraduates and are in a relationship for at least 6 months. "Sub-dimension of Relationship Stability Scale", "Conceptualizations of Forgiveness Questionnaire", "Heartland Forgiveness Scale", and "Personal Information Scale" which was enhanced by the researcher were used as the data collection tool. According to the results of the correlation analysis; low level and positive significant relationship was found with relationship satisfaction, relationship status, self-forgiveness and forgiveness is an incentive to moral behavior. Hierarchical Multiple Regression analysis was used to specify the predictors of relationship satisfaction of the students for data analysis. As a consequence of the analysis, one-way analysis of variance and t-test were used to find the significant difference according to te predictors. As a result of the analysis, it is found that the relationship satisfaction of a person in case of the engagement is higher than the flirt. It has been determined that as the level of self- forgiveness of increases with the belief that forgiveness of individuals is in a romantic relationship is an incentive to behave morally, relationship satisfaction levels increase.
