In this study, emergence of social media, blogs and bloggers along with the transition from traditional marketing to virtual marketing, were analyzed. Furthermore, views of potentialhometextileconsumersabout social media and the influence of blogs on buyingbehaviors were studied and supported by a research. The history, development and current state of the hometextileindustry were also studied and industrialanalysis was made. Based on the fact that the consumereffectively used the virtual marketing in everyarea and everyissue, the current state of hometextileproducts was meant to be discussed. Under today's competitive conditions, it seemsimpossible for companies to act with the traditional marketing policy. The brandsneed to implement a new marketing strategyaccording to the changing customer demands and needs. This study has revealedout that, beforebuyinganyproductor service, potential customers gainedinformationabout the company through researches on social media and blogs.
