Civil society organizations and public relations studies Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation (TEGV sample)

Relations with the public in civil society organizations are important in terms of the formation of civil society and the continuity for current situation of civil society organizations. Such that; organizations which value the Public Relations and have high level of competence are well known in public, gain public acceptance and have a better image. In this study, firstly civil society is examined and then studies of civil society organizations and public relations are examined. Accordingly, TEGV has been dealt with. TEGV is a non-governmental organization that has a very important place in terms of education in society. TEGV is a group of volunteers, established to provide better education for children, and is a very effective organization in today's world.
