Sınırlı olmayan bölgelerde doğrusal olmayan sönüm terimli dalga denklem denklemlerinin çözümlerinin asimptotik davranışı

In this thesis we survey asymptotic behavior of solutions to the Cauchy problemdefined in whole space for a wave equation with nonlinear dissipative term and it isshown that under certain initial conditions the solution of this problem decays to zeroat a polynomial rate when t goes to infinity.The thesis consists of three chapters. In the first chapter previous studies relatedto the given problem are discussed and necessary definitions and theorems are given.In the second chapter it is shown that the solution of the problem under considerationdecays to zero polynomially as t tends to infinity. In the last chapter the result of thethesis and that obtained previously are compared and some open problems are discussed.
