Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to investigate the relationship between psychological resilience and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in Syrian refugee women by correlational research design. Accordingly, the study group consisted of 208 Syrian women aged 18-62, beneficiary of Kızılay Community Center in Ankara. The data collection tools used in the research; the sociodemographic information form is Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) and Harvard Trauma Inventory (HTQ). SPPS 25 statistical package program was used to analyze the data obtained from the study group. The mean, standard deviation, unrelated samples t test, unrelated samples one-way variance analysis (ANOVA), Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis H test and Pearson Moments Multiplication coefficient were calculated to answer the research questions According to the findings of the study, no significant relationship was found between psychological resilience and PTSD in Syrian refugee women. The data obtained were discussed in the light of literature.
