Anthropolygic approach to the imagine of God

People create the vision of God by using their information resources. Although this conception was based on revelation in Islam, it may have been under the influence of many factors in the process. The problem in our thesis is the question of whether the different conceptions of God that emerged in Islamic theology have human origins. In this study, theologians with different conceptions of God were identified and their lives and views were examined within the framework of the cultural anthropology method. The aim is to identify the human elements that have an effect on the formation of these theologians' conceptions of God. As a result of our examination, we have seen that beliefs, the environment in which people live, the education they receive, the political environment they live in and their personal characteristics indirectly affect the formation of their conceptions of God. However, the sources of religion are fixed and these sources have been the main determinant. Religious texts are the main determinants in matters such as the existence, unity, creativity and relationship of Allah with the universe. However, we have found that human factors come into play in terms of what kind of a being God is, his relationship with his attributes, and the interpretation of expressions in religious texts that are suitable to be understood as anthropomorphic.
