Abstract (EN)
This study examines whether drama helps instructor to teach English vocabulary to young learners and if young learners enjoy learning vocabulary through drama activities. The study was conducted with 2nd grade students in a Private Primary School in Mersin. 20 students took place in this study. The researcher used observation form, daily journal; video recordings and open-ended, follow-up interview questions were asked to each student at the end of every lesson. It took 4 weeks to implement the study. It addressed teaching vocabulary through drama with the drama club students for two hours every week. No post-tests or quiz were applied to the students.
