Abstract (EN)

At the time of our study, totally 26 constructions under the name of "Turkish Era Structures In Torbalı And Vilages", including 13 mosques, two scholls, nine fountains and two train stations were inspected on their sites. Taking the architectural features of the constructions into consideration, we inserted this in our classified index. Some of the buildings being talked about are not included in our thesis because they lost their historical features. Monuments were generally built during the 19th century. All mosques, schools and train stations, some of the fountains were constructed during the period of II. Abdulhamid. Because the site that we examined is a new residential area, the establishment date of the region on which constructions were located show paralellism with the dates of the constructions. We try make an emphasis onhistories, architectures, plans, meterials and also on ornamental properties ot he buildings if they have. Architectural plans and ornamanetals have some similarities with Turkish architecture on the faraway locations. Because of the Big Torbalı Earthquake and requirements of the age, plans had been changed dramatically. During our study, these features of the constructions were also implicated in our thesis. Due to the mentioned reasons, the constructions have scarcely any ornaments.
