Abstract (EN)
Folk narratives contain the pain of the community, the lifestyle and tastes. Depending on this, it improves and gets wealth increasingly. For this reasonıt can be seen, a nations lifestyle in folk narratives. The legend which is not independent from the past and today reflects the culturel codes of our society such as fairy tales, stories and epics.The Turks, in history from the early days as a mandatory nomad culture and these relations have established strong relationship with animals as a result of the daily lifes of the daily lifes of various belief and therefore have included folklore products.The one of the narratives motifs are included varied motifs is animal motifs. Not only but also animals constitute of the folk narratives, too. Animals exist intexts as a reflection of living conditions and economic activities. At the same time, they are used as a concrete indicator reflecting abstract feelings because of that they have symbolic meanings.The main purpose of the study of animal motifs in folk narratives, is to confirm and investigate how the protogonists in the texts are dealth with solving human-animal-nature in narratives. Animals which is a very important place in our culture the symbolic meaning of literary texts and the importance of this work is to set out.Key Words: Animal, Narrative, Mythology, Epic, Story, Folk Tale, Legend.
