Abstract (EN)

History of the Middle East's two major state relations with Turkey and Iran are based on very old. In this sense, Turkey and Iran in political, cultural and economic relations was inevitable. In the background of this long and rich history, it should not be forgotten that the tension between the two countries is occasionally tense, while the mutual interaction is inevitable. In this study, after the establishment of the Republic, it can be said that Turkish foreign policy is generally shaped by its neighbors with the principle of zero problem. Mustafa Kemal as the "Peace at Home, Peace in the World" as long as not to damage the axis of a policy to live in peace with neighboring countries and Turkey's national borders was the desire to live with the policy of peace with all the world states. Turkey, the intent signing friendship treaties with neighboring states in this context, he gave the impression that it is in favor of peace. With the establishment of the republic in Turkey between the two countries by the end of the Qajar dynasty in Iran that begin to form a rapprochement and had been instrumental in the start of a new era between the two neighboring countries. As the Pahlavi dynasty became ruled, good developments were taking place in Turkish-Iranian relations. Shah Reza Pahlavi's visit to Turkey was the beginning of a new era in relations between the two states in this regard. Reza Pahlavi's visit to Turkey in the period between the two world wars, running to exist as independent states Turkey and Iran, is an important diplomatic event that embodied the rapprochement with each other.
