Özet (EN)
This correlational study mainly investigates the relationship between Turkish English foreign language (EFL) teachers' perceptions of their self-efficacy and burnout levels during the COVID-19 pandemic. Relevant data consists of 121 Turkish EFL teachers who work at primary, secondary, and high schools to gain a basic understanding of teacher self-efficacy and burnout levels. For the data collection, Teacher Professional Self-Efficacy Scale (TPSS) and the Teacher Professional Burnout Scale (TPBS) were used. A quantitative method was adopted for this investigation. In order to analyze the data, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software program was used. Within the scope of the research questions, descriptive, inferential, and correlational analyses were carried out. According to the results, EFL teachers were found to have a moderate perception of self-efficacy and burnout coming from demographic variables and subdimensions. Furthermore, the findings illustrated that there is a strong and negative correlation between the participants' perceptions of self-efficacy and burnout.
