Abstract (EN)

Crisis; It is a state of severe fluctuations that occurs unexpectedly, changes the current state of the place where it arises, and is often too late to intervene because it occurs unexpectedly. Today, economic crises are not only disruptive in the economies they arise. Due to the phenomenon of globalization, all countries in the integrated world markets can be affected by the crisis that materialises in any economy. Such global crises often have a negative impact on macroeconomic variables and these negative effects particularly take place in the economies' underdeveloped or developing countries. Revolutionary reforms that are implemented on the way of liberalism after 1980 and the accelerated globalization currents in 1990's helped to revive the economy. The economy, which was revived with liberalism and globalization, was replaced by negative variables after a certain period of time. This situation stems from the cause of inadequacy is due to the inadequacy of Turkey's economy for implementing radical changes and transformations. In this study we will examine the economic crises that have experienced in Turkey's economy after 1980, devastating effects of these crises, decisions which are taken to tackle them and impacts of those verdicts on economy.
