Abstract (EN)
Since the existence of mankind, mankind has developed many instruments for manufacturing. The biggest step taken for production has been steamers developed by James Watt in 1790. So Industry 1.0 started. The social and economic structure, along with the flourishing industry and industry, also varied. With the development of the railways and transport network, Industry 2.0 has started. Importance was given to the production of steel during this period. Henry Ford was the one who marked the Second Industrial Revolution. The sliding tape system was developed and mass-produced. Beginning in the 1980s, Industry 3.0 and 3-D printers were developed and the use of robots and computers became widespread in factories. Technological advances have played an effective role in productivity growth. With the concept of Industry 4.0, which came into our lives in 2011, evolution has taken place in the manufacturing sector. In Industry 4.0, rather than the other three revolutions, the need for man was reduced. Many concepts such as robots, artificial intelligence, 3-D printers, Cyber Physical Systems, cloud technology are included in Industry 4.0. In this study, Industry 4.0 concepts, Industry 4.0 applications in the world and Turkey, along with the positive and negative aspects of this new concept, Turkey's position in Industry 4.0 and the possible effects of the existing labor structure in Turkey on employment and professional groups will be discussed.
