Comparison of prepositions in Turkey Turkish and Gazak Turkish

Researches upon Turkish language and comparative studies of modern Turkish Dialects with Turkey Turkish have paved the way for many works in this field. In this context, this study constitutes the mainframe by comparing the prepositions in Turkey Turkish Dialect to those of Qazak Turkish Dialect, in terms of both common and different aspects The aim of this study is to search and comment on the prepositions of these two dialects by evidences offered. In this study which is based on the comparison of prepositions; it has been tried to indicate the similarities and differences between them by examples taken from Qazak novels, stories and tales and Turkish novels. Besides, definitions of the prepositions on both sides and their classifications have been given. As a result, the prepositions of both dialects have been reached by scanning method and they have been evaluated by comparison method. By considering the kinship relation among these two dialects it has been determined that they have had many similarities in the use and classification of the prepositions obtained. Differences observed have also tried to be shown. The Sample material obtained has been analyzed in the light of deduction and induction technics. This study will contribute to the interpretation of Turkish Language, and it will be able to provide material and resources for language related lectures which are taught in the university departments such as Turkish Language and Literature, Contemporary Turkish Dialects. It will also provide contibution to Turkish teaching in secondary education and Turkish teaching as a foreign language for foreign students. Key words: Turkey Turkish, Qazak Turkish, prepositions
