Abstract (EN)
The study was designed as a descriptive study to determine the effects of shift work on the social lives of midwives and nurses. The researcher's universe is in the research process. Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Training and Research Hospital has created midwives and nurses working with shift system. 310 (81%) midwives and nurses working as shift workers were able to reach the questionnaire. Number, percentage and chikare test were used in the evaluation of the data. 49.7% of the midwives and nurses participating in the study are in the middle age group, 52.9% are undergraduate, 66.8% are married and 30.3% are working for over 16 years. 70.3% of the participants were on average 6 per month, 59.4% working 41 hours per week and 77.1% working 3-4 weeks in the last month. It was determined that midwives and nurses participating in the study had an effect on the weekend working status, weekly working hours and shifts due to the limited experience and shift work due to shift work, and the shift effect on the time spent with the family and children. In this respect, it is recommended that appropriate intervals be provided between shifts, equal distribution of working conditions on weekends, organization to be organized by the organization, organization of the collective organizations so that all personnel can participate. from an individual point of view, the time to be spent with the spouse and the activities to be able to personally participate, whether with friends or others, should be provided.
