Organizational culture in higher education: A systematic review study

The research was carried out in order to examine the organizational culture studies in higher education according to certain criteria and to determine the current state of the trends in the subject. Within the scope of the research, the terms "organizational culture in higher education" and "organizational culture" were searched in the YÖK National Thesis Center databases. As a result of the screening, the studies carried out between the years 2004-2021 were analyzed using the systematic review method, one of the qualitative research methods. In the studies within the scope of our research, the quantitative and the qualitative design were used. Due to the role of academic staff in the organizational structure of the university, they were selected as participants in the studies. In studies, many concepts related to organizational culture are subject to studies. In the studies, it was observed that the suggestions were made to more managers. As a result; In the studies within the scope of our research, the relationship of organizational culture with many sub-dimensions was determined and evaluated. In addition, it is thought that there is a need to examine the relations between the university's organizational culture and subcultures in terms of the social role and subcultures of universities.
