Mushkil al-Qur'an in Zamakhsharee's al-Kashshaaf

Our research consists of an entry and three chapters. Information about the topic of the research, its aim and importance, the method to be followed and the sources was given in the entry. Since the first chapter is made up of two sections, brief information about the mufassir Zamakhsharee's life was given in its first section. As for the second section's topic it was discussed about Mushkil Al-Quran's definition, its essence, its historical process and Zamakhsharee's approach to these issues. Main topic of the second chapter is 'The Mushkils that emerged from the verses which seem to have contradictions among them', where at the first view, mushkils were elaborated according to a verse with another verse, a verse within itself, a group of verses with another group, first view of the verse's event, as well as the cotradiction between the logic and the text. The third chapter is about the mushkils in the verses which look contradictory to the Qurans's being a literary book. Even though the almighty Allah informs about the Quran's being a literary book in many aspects, still some of the Quran's verses seem to mean quite the opposite. Thereby these verses' real meaning was acknowledged in this chapter.
