Abstract (EN)

Reşid is born in 1846 in Istanbul. He learns Persian and Arabian from his tutors. He knows enough French to make the translation. He is assigned many places as a chief secretary (Trabzon, Adana, Halep…) He passes away in 1911 and he is buried in Edirne Mevlevihâne Cemetery. He is a close friend of Namık Kemal. Namık Kemal influences his arts ideas. It is known that his nickname is given from Namık Kemal. Although his poems do not find today, his two Works are published named "Edebiyat Kumkuması" and "Taktaka". The Works include significant correspondence with the important artists of the era such as Namık Kemal, Veys Paşa, Muallim Naci and criticisms as well as the dream of Ali Suavi also a conversation with the Arab Izzet Holo Pasha. It can be understood that Edebiyat Kumkuması and Taktata include majör information about literary and historical events of the period. Ali Ruhi is born in 1853/1854. He is known as a qalandar person. A work of his remains at present time named Lemeat. He is someone who has no difficulty in writing poetry, who reflects his life story to his poems and can produce poems at any time. He considers writing Tezkiretü'ş-Şuara but his lifespan does not allow this process. He sees Muallim Naci as his master. The effect of Muallim Naci can be seen in his poems. He works in many positions in government. His last place of duty is in Ertugrul Firkateyn which is going to Japan. He passes away in 1890. Compilation and analysis methods are used in the dissertation. The life stories of Zeynelabidin Reşid and Ali Ruhi is written through the documents that have been in the State Archive; The literary aspect of the authors is revealed by changing the mentioned works to Latin letters. The results are examined with analysis methods. Thus, the unknowns about the period is uncovered and the contributions of the literary artists who remained in the background are stated.
