Widowed migrant women exposed to forced migration and assuming the role of dual parents: Internal migration and external migration practice

In this study, I evaluated the economic and social problems faced by the widow immigrant woman in Gaziantep province, along with the extent of migration's effects on their life struggles under negative physical conditions. The type of research is qualitative research and I have used case studies. A study group of 20 people was formed with the purposeful sampling technique. Through semi-structured questionnaires in-depth interviews were conducted with the participants. After the interviews, widowed immigrant women's intersecting and diverging migration and widow practices were analyzed. Before the analysis, relevant approaches and conceptual themes were included within the scope of the study.At the end of the study, data was obtained about the women's participation in migration and it was concluded that it had several reasons and generally, the migration was forced but latent. Immigration experiences of domestic and foreign widowed immigrant women were studied and some differences were found in the reasons for being involved in migration. I've observed that immigrant women who were widowed had a harder time communicating with their social circle and the institutions they needed to visit. Particularly, when I've looked at the issue of government aid, I've seen that these women are excluded more than others. In sum, the different backgrounds these women had brought some problems along with them. By getting to the basis of problems such as poverty, child labor, being a child bride, unfavorable living conditions,some adjustments need to be made in order for these women to adapt to social life.
