Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the effects of calisthenics exercises applied with the Tabata training model on technical performance, agility, speed, attention and dynamic balance parameters in 14-15 year old female volleyball players. Licensed female volleyball athletes (n=33) aged (14.73±0.45 years), who agreed to participate in the study voluntarily (study group n=19 and control group n=14) were included. In addition to branch training in the study group, calisthenics exercises, which increased in intensity and duration every three weeks according to the Tabata training model, were performed two days a week. In addition to branch training, the study group was made to perform calisthenics exercises two days a week, with increasing intensity and duration every three weeks, according to the Tabata training model. The control group only did branch training. A pre-test was conducted before the study and a post-test was conducted 10 weeks later, and then statistical analysis was conducted. Since the data showed normal distribution, Independent Sample T test was applied to test the differences between groups, and Paired Sample T test was applied to test the differences within groups, and the results were evaluated at the p = 0.05 significance level. D2 attention test, Bartlett serve accuracy test, finger pass test, cuff pass test, Y-dynamic balance upper extremity test, 20m and 10m speed test, and agility t test were applied to the athletes. It was found that calisthenics exercises performed with the Tabata training model positively affected the dynamic balance, agility, 10m speed, attention parameters and volleyball technical performance of the study group. In this context, it can be said that calisthenics exercises performed with the Tabata training model positively affect the technical performance of 14-15 year old female volleyball athletes.
