Abstract (EN)

Crises might stem from domestic factors as they might also stem from crises in foreign countries. In times of crisis a number of differences might occur in the foreign trade operations of enterprises. In this study, the effects of these differences on export, import, payment and receipt patterns were investigated. Especially, the impacts of November 2000, February 2001 and 2008 crises on foreign trade operations have been studied.Crises might affect enterprises wholly or partially. However, when the import-export coverage ratio is considered enterprises like Kütahya Porselen Industry Inc. that meet their imports balance with their exports balance might experience a different crisis period compared to others. Several such enterprises display different foreign trade operations. The research exemplifies such changes.Key Words: Crisis, foreign trade operations, import/export, payment/receipt
