Primary 7 traditional methods and computer-aided education classes in teaching the subject of ecosystem effect comparison of student achievement

Research was implemented at Şanlıurfa county, Hilvan town, Gölcük Primary School in spring semester of 2010 ? 2011 education year. Firstly, second semester was waited for students were ready to understand ecosystem section as fully, and also conditions were provided for giving students computer-supported education at school. Students were informed about thesis. Preliminary test ? final test method was used in our thesis. Data results were analyzed by t-test which is one of the SPSS data analyze methods. Two groups which includes 30 students were created from 7th class students as experiment and control groups. Ecosystem was taught to experiment group by using computer ? supported method, and to control group by using traditional education method. Preliminary test results which were provided before teaching ecosystem and final test results which were provided after teaching ecosystem were reviewed by t-test method of SPSS 16.0 data analyze program. Analyze results show that computer - supported education was more succesful. Preliminary and final tests of traditional education and computer ? supported education were compared by using anova test of SPSS 16.0 data analyze program and were found meaninful difference between computer-supported education and traditional education system.
