Examination of Abdürraûf Muhlis el-Herevî's work title "Tecellîy-i Kur'an Der Asr-i İlm" in context of scientific interpretation method

In order to guide the sons of Adam to the right path, Almighty Allah sent them the supreme Qur'an as a guide. The verses that were sent were firstly sent to Hz. He reached the Prophet and his ummah through him. Hz. The Prophet read and explained the descended verses to his first addressees, the Companions. Hz. With the death of the Prophet and the spread of Islam, there was a greater need for the interpretation of the Qur'an. Thus, the first cores of tafsir began to appear. However, due to different reasons, these studies could not reach the present day or sufficient studies could not be done on them. Most studies in the field of tafsir were done in Khorasan. These artifacts were destroyed as a result of the occupation of the Mongols and then the Russians. Muslims, who did not compromise their faith and Islam even in difficult times, tried to train scholars. One of these scholars is Herevî. He has given important works in the field of Qur'an exegesis and scientific tafsir. In this study, Abdürraûf Muhlis Herevî's work named "Tecellî Kur'an Der Asrı İlim" was examined in the context of scientific interpretation method. In the introduction part, information about Herevî's life, scientific personality, works, teachers and duties are given in addition to the information about the scientific commentary. In the first part of the study, positive sciences are included. In the second part of the study, interpretations within the scope of psychological sciences are given.
