The mentalitiy of divinity in Adud al-Dîn al-'İjî

Our study on "The Mentalitiy of Divinity in Adud al-Dîn al-Îjî" consists of three main parts. In the first part, the subject of evidences of the existence of Allah is examined. In the second part, the subject of the attributes of Allah is mentioned. In this context, tanzihi, vujudi and controversial attributes were analyzed. In the third chapter, the subject of Allah's acts is discussed. Related to this subject, subjects such as creation of the universe, the creation of human behaviours by Allah, tawlid, God's will forwhat is possible, beauty (husn) and the Beast (kubh), proposal, prophethood, the non-purpose fulness acts of Allah, and hashir (resurrection after death) are covered. In this study, it has been determined that al-Îjî is a versatile author who has written works in mental and transmission sciences. In addition, it is seen that he analyzes the understandings of different schools related to the subject of divinity with a critical method.
