Establishment process of Agroparks: A theoretical study about Aydın Agropark

The main purpose of this study is to develop a theoretical model for the creation of an Agropark in Aydın. In line with this purpose of the study, firstly, the theoretical framework and structuring of the Agropark were discussed, secondly, the features that allowed the establishment of Agropark in Aydın Province were analyzed, and finally, the design and management activities of the Agropark formation process in Aydın Province were revealed. It is seen that the studies on Agropark formation and management in Turkey are very limited in number, and this master's thesis contributes to filling an important knowledge gap in the relevant field. It is expected that the study will serve to exhibit low-cost, time-saving efforts for industry leaders and researchers in the establishment and management of the Agropark, which is understood to be an important element in the implementation of clustering strategies in the agricultural sector of Aydın and in effectively directing potential innovation resources to the development of the sector.
