Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of dynamic core exercises on body composition and some biomotor abilities of young male football players playing in the youth field. Athletes (n=30) participating in the study, 15 of them in the experimental group (DG) (age: 15.73 0.961 years; body weight: 63.62 6.68604 kg, height: 173.9267 5.33780 cm), and 15 of them in the control group ( KG) (age: 15.60±0.961 years, body weight: 65.188.61247 kg; height: 175.7933 ± 5.63287 cm) were divided into 2 different groups. A dynamic core exercise program was applied to the experimental group for 8 weeks, 3 days a week, for approximately 25 minutes before football training. The control group, on the other hand, only participated in football training during this period. Fat percentage values for body composition, 10 m-30 m speed, vertical jump, wingate anaerobic power test, back and leg strength measurements were taken from the athletes before the training and at the end of the 8th week. SPSS 25 software package program was used in the statistical analysis of the data. Intra-group analyses of the effect of training were conducted by using the Paired Simple T test, and inter-group analyses were conducted by using the multivariate Independent Simple T test, and the level of significance was accepted as (p<0.05). As a result, we can say that dynamic core training improves the body composition and some biomotor abilities of young male football players playing in the youth field.
