Abstract (EN)
Tales carried from past to present through oral culture; It is a type of narrative in which there are extraordinary people or beings, imaginary, and where the element of place and time is uncertain. Tales, in which people's cultural accumulations are adorned with symbolic elements, are mirrors that reveal the world they want to live in. The fact that fairy tales are imaginary makes the place in it uncertain. However, every fairy tale takes place somewhere. Places in fairy tales are places specific to fairy tales. The function of the space and the message it presents emerge in order to show the real world with the symbolic meanings attributed to the fairy tale spaces that are or cannot be encountered in real life. Their tales are not just about the place they are in. Spaces represent the existence of the hero, his/her progress towards becoming himself/herself, his/her adulthood. The places are the places where the events that happened or to come to the hero take place and where the hero is put to the test. The places identified in Anatolian tales are classified as earth, underground, nature and sky. In this classification, by creating sub-headings, the symbolic, mythological, psychological, philosophical, religious and the meanings that each place represents in Turkish culture were evaluated. In this study, when the places identified in Anatolian tales are evaluated with their stated aspects, it is seen that the fairy tale space is removed from the monotony and added a multifaceted value. Spaces, which are a step in the existence of the hero and his life journey; They are important symbolic places that guide and mature the hero.
