Abstract (EN)

In scope of this study, it is aimed to examine the effect of stress of employees working in tourism sector during Covid-19 on their burnout and working motivation. Quantitative research method was used in the study. In this respect, a survey was conducted on 252 participants between 12th October 2021 and 18th August 2022 by using convenience sampling technique. In survey form, 7 questions about demographical information, Scale of Stress Generating Factors developed by Balcı (1993) with 14 statements, Maslach Burnout Inventory developed by Maslach and Jackson (1981) and adapted into Turkish by Çam (1991) with 22 statements, Working Motivation Scale developed by Miao, Evans and Zou (2007) and adapted into Turkish by Çetinkaya (2021) with 16 statements were used. The data collected from participants was analysed via SPSS-23 program. As the result of the research, it was found that the stress of employees actively working in companies at tourism sector during Covid-19 has partial, significant, positive and in low-level effect on their burnout and working motivation.
