Abstract (EN)
In the process of surgery, various complications can be observed for many reasons, such as anxiety of the patient before surgery, disruption of physiology during surgery, and fluid-electrolyte imbalances in the postoperative period, delay in mobilization, disruption of nutrition. The surgical process affects the patient from a physiological, psychological and social point of view. The order of surgery is the most important stage of this process. The Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol is an approach and paradigm shift towards perioperative care of patients. Instead of established surgical dogmas, they are multidisciplinary evidence-based practices that affect personalized patient care. During the Deconstruction period, the harmonious work of the surgical team members among themselves under the leadership of the operating room nurse makes ERAS visible. Our current study was conducted to determine the level of knowledge of surgical team members about the components of accelerated recovery after surgery during surgery. The study was carried out with 106 surgical team members who agreed to participate in the study at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul, in descriptive and cross-sectional type. The analysis of the data was carried out with the SPSS 26.0 program and was conducted with a 95% confidence level. Frequency and percentage (n(%)) statistics are given for categorical (qualitative) variables. In the study, the Kikare test was used. 52.4% of the surgical team members are nurses, 47.6% are physicians, and 24.5% are General Surgeons.
