Abstract (EN)

Nurses' health is affected not only by their working conditions but also by their lifestyles. It is an important public health priority to determine how nurses' lifestyle behaviors are affected during the pandemic process. This thesis study was conducted to evaluate the healthy lifestyle behaviors of nurses working in the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was conducted in cross-sectional and descriptive type and 314 nurses working in Hatay Training and Research Hospital participated in the research. Ethics Committee Approval was received from Çankırı Karatekin University Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Committee. Data; Sociodemographic Characteristics were collected through the Information Form and the Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale II (SYBDÖII). Data analysis; According to the variable types and distributions, independent samples t test, one-way analysis of variance, Bonferroni, Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis H test were used. The participants' HLBS II mean score was 117.34±22.54, and the highest mean score of the scale sub-dimensions belongs to Spiritual Development (23.45±4.86) and the lowest mean score belongs to the Physical Activity (15.10±4.96) sub-dimension. . The participants' HLBS II score average is at a moderate level. SYBD of the nurses participating in the research; age, number of children, working years, marital status, increase in working hours during the COVID-19 pandemic, change in nutrition during the COVID-19 pandemic, alcohol use, exercise status, family relations during the COVID-19 pandemic, care for the individual diagnosed with COVID-19 The status of providing consultancy services during the COVID-19 pandemic process differs according to the variables of change in nutrition during the COVID-19 pandemic process. Importance and support should be given to the processes that facilitate nurses' display of HLFS through improvements in working hours. In order to minimize the negative effects of the pandemic process, especially, nurse plans to be developed on a scientific basis should be provided, and plans should be made to improve working conditions and alleviate workloads. Institutional arrangements should be made to make it easier for nurses to exhibit HLFS
