Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine the attitudes and behaviours of students towards school during the Covid-19 epidemic. The aim of this study is to reveal the students' opinions about the attitudes and behaviours of the students, who are away from their schools and peers due to the Covid-19 epidemic, towards the school during the distance education process. The case study design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. Maximum variation and criterion sampling method, which are the purposive sampling methods in study, were preferred. In this context, the sample of the study consisted of eighth grade students studying in a secondary school affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. Students are grouped according to their academic achievement. Using a semi-structured interview form, nine open-ended questions were asked to the participating students. With the analysis of the findings obtained in the research, it was concluded that all of the participating students missed school in the distance education process. The most important reason for students' longing for school was their longing for their friends and then for their teachers. The majority of the participant students found distance education useless due to technological problems and inadequacies, and all of the students stated that they wanted to continue their education life face to face. In the research, the reasons for the attitudes and behaviors of the students were examined in detail.
