Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the effectiveness of some chemical and biological products against Botrytis cinerea on tomato plants in pot and greenhouse conditions and on tomato fruits under controlled conditions were investigated. Among the active ingredients whose effectiveness was investigated in the study were 26.7% Boscalid + 6.7% Pyraclostrobin, 37.5% Cyprodinil + 25% Fludioxonil, 1.34% Bacillus subtilis and 224.6 g/L Reynoutria spp. In the pot trial, Boscalid + Pyraclostrobin and Cyprodinil + Fludioxonil showed 92.3% and 87.2% effectiveness against B. cinerea, respectively. The biological products Bacillus subtilis and Reynoutria spp. were reduced the disease severity of B. cinerea by 76.9% and 82.1%, respectively. In fruit trials under controlled conditions, Boscalid + Pyraclostrobin and Cyprodinil + Fludioxonil reduced disease severity by 88.2% and 80.4%, respectively. In the greenhouse trial, Boscalid + Pyraclostrobin and Cyprodinil + Fludioxonil applications showed the highest effect on disease severity, and the effect ratios were 87.9% and 81.2%, respectively. As a result, the effectiveness of chemical fungicides showed high effectiveness against B. cinerea in greenhouse, pot and fruit trials. These findings highlight the importance of fungicide selection in integrated disease management strategies and demonstrate the potential for the use of biological fungicides.
