Abstract (EN)
Dost Journal is a monthly art and literature journal published by Salim Şengil between the dates of 1964-1973 without any interval. The journal has come to the forefront both with art and literature as well as political and social writings. The most important aspect of the journal, in terms of Turkish literature, was to introduce young storytellers to the world of art and literature. However, the fact that it has brought political and current writings to its columns shows the versatility of the journal. In addition to Turkish poetry, Dost Journal has made significant progress with new opinions in Turkish story, painting, plastic arts and theater. The evolving politi-cal, social and economic developments in Turkey between the years of 1960-1970 can be followed on the pages of Dost Journal. Key Words: Salim Şengil, Dost Journal, Turkish Literature, Turkish Story, Turkish Poetry
